欢迎周 showcases Heidelberg’s many resources for academic, 个人, and professional success and features activities planned just for you, HU的新生. 欢迎周 will put you on the path to success at HU by:
- Providing you with an opportunity to connect with the HU community, reconnect with your advisor, and establish meaningful relationships with students and faculty that will be the foundation for your academic and 个人 success throughout your college experience.
- Encouraging a first-year student identity, 建立独立, 进一步增强胡的自豪感, recognizing your individual role and responsibility as a member of the HU community, and helping you develop a sense of ownership of and accountability for your college experience.
- Allowing you to become an expert in navigating the campus while discovering the many resources available at HU. These resources meet the diverse needs of our students, and will empower you to create a successful college experience.

Some 欢迎周 activities and events are required for all new students. We understand that some students may have conflicts and wish to be excused from some or all programming. The Office of 学生参与 may grant exemptions to students who demonstrate conflicts that are deemed sufficient to warrant an exemption. Students can request an exemption from a 欢迎周 event by completing 这种形式 and returning it to the Office of 学生参与.
